For those who may or may not remember it, WeaponLord was a 2D sword-fighting game that featured a bunch of bad-ass babarians. This was a while ago, 11 years in fact, and it came out on the SNES and Genesis.
This was my fav character, Bane, who was cursed to live on a mountain pass until some other poor soul ventured, where they would then be force to take Bane's place. He killed a sabertoothed wolf. and wears it's skin. How frigging cool is that!!??!?
This smackbang awesome! Digging the pose and background. The steam out of the mouth effect is a nice touch and help emmerse the character in the scene. Is Weaponlord worth picking up?
I know a friend of mine that uses the same style of colouring, leaving the pencil traces together with digital colouring.
I have to say that I really like that style of colouring. It would be nice if you attempt to use programs like Painter or Open Canvas to colourize your images, and see what happens, and experiment with new techniques using the basis of your own nice style
Great comments! Yeah, I have painter, but I'm a very, very slow learner when it comes to mastering the nuances of new programs. I will use it eventually.
